WHO WE ARE
April and Chris Lewin
In 2021, our founders April and Chris Lewin started Mityana Orphan Charities in response to the overwhelming needs for the children in the town of Mityana. They found out that many orphans in this town did not have access to daily meals, basic necessities, including healthcare and education. Furthermore, they did not know much about Jesus Christ.

They started a ministry that provided real solution to the orphans.
Under April and Chris Lewin's leadership, Mityana Orphan Charities has been able to support 31 orphaned children and the community people in Mityana through combined efforts of the team and volunteers, donors, and sponsors.
Through Mityana Orphan Charities, orphans and community people are finding hope; children now have access to daily meals, education, natural home treatment, leadership training and spiritual discipleship.

They consistently go above and beyond to ensure that our programs run smoothly and effectively. They all possesses excellent communication skills. demonstrating empathy and understanding towards our beneficiaries. Their kindness, leadership, and commitment to making a difference in the lives of the orphans makes them outstanding and true inspiration.
